Learn the secrets of a fascinating region

The Veneto Region offers as many as 13 different golf courses, four of which right nearby, in the Euganean Hills.

Four historical Golf Clubs: Padova, Montecchia, Frassanelle and Colli Berici.

Located in the midst of the Euganean Hill’s Thermal Park, a natural area of particular beauty in the heart of Veneto, they are located within a radius of only 10Km (Golf Clubs Padova, Frassanelle, Montecchia) and 45Km (Colli Berici). The short distance between them ties them together, as well as being capable to surprise their guest with a sophisticated blend of nature, relaxing at the thermal baths, culture and pleasure.

Golf Club Montecchia

Created on the initiative of a group of entrepreneurs from Padua, the Montecchia Golf Club is one of the 27-hole courses in the Triveneto region.

Golf is played in the shade of the charm and elegance of a historic residence: the old castle of the Counts Emo Capodilista, just a few kilometres from the city of Padua. The course was designed by the Irish architect Tom Macauley and covers an area of 820,000 square metres. The clubhouse is well-equipped and very comfortable. The Golf Academy and the prestigious Alajmo restaurant complete the exclusive services offered by Montecchia.

Golf Club Padova

The Valsanzibio course, or the Padova Golf Club course, was created in 1960, thanks to a group of golf lovers from Padua and is the second course with holes in the Veneto.

A championship course that is extremely varied, with around 8,000 trees and shrubs and a series of water hazards and sand traps distributed around all 27 holes the course is very technical. The greatest difficulties are caused by the tall vegetation that lines the fairways, highlighting the numerous doglegs, from water hazards to strategically placed bunkers, which make the game more difficult for the player, who is often tempted to “skip” the hole. There is also a comfortable clubhouse with an excellent restaurant.
